Well week #2 is officially in the books and things are starting to fall into place, or are they? We have 2 undefeated teams, 2 teams yet to taste victory, and 8 teams (yes 8) who are at .500. Can we figure out anything from these results? Lets look at the numbers.
In the Eastern Confrence where Wrecking Balls are averaging 8.5 runs a game. Really it's quite impressive, I was all like "Damn that's alot of scoring" when I saw that number. WB has victories over Inglorious Ballstards and Kickelback who beat Schweddy Balls and Balls of Fury, who have beaten Balls to the Wall. Over in the Western Confrence, 1st United Connecticut Kickers have set themselves up with a good shot to go undefeated, while Balls Deep and Free Ballers are both looking to win out the rest of the season. Blue Mooners and Uniballs both good teams that looking at a potential sub .500 season.
Now take everything that is going on and throw in the season's first cross over week were teams from the different confrences face off. 3 games featuring 1-1 teams facing off, 1 game with a team without a victory will not lose, and a game of the week that will be a statement team for both teams playing. I've heard rumors since before the season started that the Western Confrence was the dominant one, well here's their chance to prove it. The Eastern Confrence is going to have to dig deep if they want to silence it's critics with 2 of the 6 games heavily favored for the West to win (Uniballs v Balls of Fury & 1UCK v Schweddy Ball).
See you back here next week folk. Things are starting to get good.
