Hooray Kickball!

Well our first cross confrence week has come to a close, with the Western Confrence coming out ahead with a record of 5-1 on the week and a staggering 30 Run Differential for the day. Now this doesn't mean that there weren't some admiral showings in some of the losing attempts. Both Balls of Fury and Wrecking Balls played some close games that came down to the wire, Balls to the Wall got their first victory of the season, and Schweddy Balls is the first team to score more runs against 1UCK than the 1UCK captain kicked in against them (might not sound like much, but an accomplishment when then the Vegas odds had them getting mercy ruled and two power poll teams weren't able to do it). With 4 1-2 in the confrence, any little bit of momentum can help bring teams back up to a .500 season.
The Western Confrence made a couple statements of their own. Blue Mooners and Free Ballers were both coming off of tough loses this week and made up for it in spades with double digit victories over their opponents, and maybe even send a message to thier upcoming opponents. With 4 2-1 teams in the West, none can rest and take it easy if they want a shot winning the confrenced for that #1 seed come playoffs. It's as if any given Sunday, any team can win.
