Ok, so the gLot is out sick this week, no worries as she is doing better and even dropped off predictions for this week’s game. However; that gives us a chance to give the detail by detail fine scoop on the mid season party next Saturday. That’s right next Saturday!!!!
Mid Season Party 5/8
It’s peanut-butter jelly time, peanut-butter jelly time, peanut-butter jelly time Peanut butta jelly, peanut butta jelly, peanut-butta jelly wit a baseball bat!!!!!!!
Location – Anna Liffey’s (our sponsored bar)
Date – Saturday, May 8th
Time – 7:30 till they kick us out (2am)
Cost- Free for kickballers, $5 for friends
What – Here’s the deal kickballers! Anna Liffey’s will be supplying FREE kegs and FREE food for us. This event is FREE for kickballers and $5 for friends. The money will be going to a charity we have sponsored before (LIFEHaven – More details to follow). The party goes until the weeeeee hours of the night and there will be 3 different tournaments (again for charity).
Beer Pong Tourney- 2 player teams- $10 entry fee per team ($5/person) (16 teams)
Flip Cup Tourney – 4 player teams - $5 per person - (16 teams) best of 5, dbl elimination
Individual Flip Cup challenge Tourney - $5 per person – (32 spots)
This will be via pre-register and the beer pong/ flip cup teams do not have to be on the same kickball team. Friends are allowed to participate in this event. The winners will get bragging rights and fabulous prizes. =)
We know what beer pong and flip cup is, but an Individual Flip Cup Challenge??? Yes!! We are looking for the stars among stars, 32 people. You say you are the best, prove it!!! No excuses to blame teammates for a loss, just you and a cup. 5 cups, you 1 on 1 with someone else and you flip your way to the championship. NCAA style, 1 game elimination. But like I said before, there are only 32 spots. Sign up now to guarantee your spot for dominance.
I can not express it enough when I say, FREE-FREE-FREE food and beer. And I don’t just mean crackers & cheese & fruits, nope; not on my watch. We will be having REAL food! We will also have a DJ in attendance to make this an all out party. Heavy security will be in place so you do not have to worry about stragglers walking in crashing.
All tournament events are pre-register and you are not limited to just one. Play beer pong, team flip cup, and Individual flip cup. See if you can pull off the hat trick. In fact, if you do pull off the hat trick, I personally will refund you your registration for this season, pay for your fall season, and God so help me it will rain Bud light and french fries for you all season long………
Once again, all monies will be going to our Charity LIFEHaven, so don’t be cheap, you spend $$$ when you go out on a normal Saturday, let’s make it worth it this time.
