Ghost Lady on Third

Somewhere deep in the heartland of the great US of A, there is a seven year old. That seven year old is not thinking about the end of school coming up; No, this seven year old is sitting on the bench at recess, holding a big red rubber ball and dreaming of one day being a prestigious Kickball All-Star.
Well right here, near the heart of New Haven, at East Rock Park, that dream is soon going to be realized by some lucky kickballers. Dreams will come true on June 20, 2010!!

For the 1st time ever, the CT Ivy Division will be having an All-Star game showcasing the best of the best of this spring 2010 season; Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference. All-star voting is currently taking place and the rosters will be announced next week in our Ivy Blog. All voting is being conducted through respective team captains. Please contact yours for more information.

How it works?
Each team will be required to select three players to represent their team in the all-star game, one of each gender, which is being held on June 20, 2010 (The last day of spring season). All-Star team Captains will be the Captain of the team with the best record in their conference at the holiday break. They also will receive at least 1-at-large-pick within their entire conference. If they are All-Stars themselves, they will receive 2-at-large-picks bringing the total All-Star Roster for both conferences at 20 players.
*Teams failing to provide players to represent their team will be replaced with at-large picks by the All-Star Conference Captains

At the holiday break, these are the All-Star Captains for their respective conferences:
Western Conference: Zak Naldrett (1st United Ct Kickers)
Eastern Conference: Kyle Settle (Inglorious Ballstards)

Rosters will be announced June 2nd through the Ivy Blog.
At large picks will be announced June 9th through the Ivy Blog.

~So players that don’t get selected, you have 1 game (Week 8, June 6th) to prove why you should be an all-star. So play your best game, suck up as much as you can, and step up your game!!!
