Halfway through the season and things are finally starting to take shape, or are they? Of 12 teams in the division 6 hold a record of 2-2, with 3 teams above .500 and 3 teams below .500 Lets take a look at what these teams have done, and what's left to come.
The sub .500 The Closers, Schweddy Balls, and Kickelback. The Closers are in the running for toughest 1st half schedule of the season and it doesn't look like it's getting any easier. Best looking game left on the schedule is Kickbelback. Speaking of KB, their schedule hasn't been a walk in the park either and like The Closers, the next cross over week looks to be their best bet for a win. Schweddy Balls don't have that luck. While not having as difficult a schedule has The Closers, they have the worst draw of any team during cross over weeks. They are the only Eastern Conference team to play 1UCK, Freeballers AND Balls Deep.
Of the 6 .500 teams the 4 from the Eastern Conference all are in pretty much the same boat. The big difference shows in the remaining cross over week games, Inglorious Ballstards play zero teams on this weeks Presidential Power Poll, while Balls to the Wall and Balls of Fury play PPP teams in both of their cross over games to come. Of the Western Conference teams it's a much different story. They have faced 2 of the 3 above .500 teams and the last real challenge of the Blue Mooners schedule is this weeks Game of the Week while Uniballs most challenging team they face is, well, the Blue Mooners.
And that brings us to the 3 teams above .500. Between Balls Deep and Free Ballers, BD has had a much more difficult road to this point. Free Ballers have 2 of their biggeest test in the 2nd half of the season. Now for the 1st half of the season, it's hard to argue that a team has had a tougher schedule than 1UCK faceing Balls Deep, Free Ballers, and Blue Mooners. In comparison, the 2nd half of the season looks to be a cake walk.
While it may seem like there's a big gap between 1st and last, nothing is set in stone. The play off picture won't start shaping up for another few weeks and any given Sunday...
