Yeah, I'm going to talk about playoff scenarios once again. It's how I roll. Now you can't predict forfeits and we're not at the point with only 2 games left that we can't rule them out. So imagining everybody shows up when they are supposed to and refs and all here's what it looks like for some of the teams out there. From the looks of things The Closer and Kickleback are bound to the bottom of the division. However both teams have perfect storm scenario's in which it is capable for them to jump from 11th and 12th up 7th. It becomes a fight for positioning as Schweddy, Balls to the Wall, Uniballs, and Inglorious Ballstards all still close enough in positioning that will have a major effect on the playoff seeding.
As for the top half of the division, while 3 of the 4 playoff byes are pretty much locked up that last remaining spot has 3 teams fighting for it. Out of Wrecking Balls, Balls of Fury, and Blue Mooners, WB has the best shot of getting that last spot. They have a slight edge over both teams in runs against and their schedule is not any easier than the Mooners, BoF still has undefeated 1UCK in their way. (editor zak note, I just found out the the #2 spot will automatically go to the Eastern Conference winner, which means BM is out of the race for a playoff bye due to losing the head to head against Free and BD. Sorry for any confusion or false hope) While neither Free Ballers nor Balls Deep have actually locked up the 2 or 3 spot, the winner of this weeks match up will, and the loser would have to drop their week 8 game against a sub .500 team in order to be at risk of missing out on the bye. And the last team to talk about is 1st United Connecticut Kickers. 1UCK's 6-0 record means they just have to show up to guarantee free trip to the division quarter finals, and are a win away from locking up the regular season crown. Please remember that all this is speculating that they don't forfeit a game or fail to show up to ref.
And remember folks, if things don't go your teams way over the next few weeks, everybody start the playoffs fresh and new.
