My Fellow Kickballers;
What a party huh? I don’t know about you but it’s taken me a couple of days to get back to normal after the mid-season party. Hopefully everyone had a good time and if you didn’t, I have no idea what party you attended. And if you missed it, I bet you won’t miss another one. We ended up raising over $750 for the Charity of LIFEHaven; Thank you guys!!! As good as the party was, I am a perfectionist sometimes; so whatever worked for you or didn’t work, please let myself or other board members know. We have some adjustments for the End of season party to make it even better. What? End of season? Yes…. You heard me right, End of Season party Saturday, June 26, 2010… but it’s too early to be thinking about that. We still have a half a season and playoffs before we reach that point. However; at that party… we will crown a flip cup individual champion; that is not an option. That tourney will be postponed and played out at the end of the season. Congrads to the Team Davis for winning the flip cup team crown. And kickballers, you should be embarrassed because they all were non-kickballers. Maybe we can get that fixed for the next party.
CT Ivy will be having their1st ever All-Star game this year. Information on selections will be forwarded to your captains next week. So there is still time to show what you can do.
No bad news or complaints from your president today though. Everyone seems to be handling their business on the fields and at the bar. Speaking of bar, a huge shout out to Frank and Ryan of Anna Liffey’s. Those really showed awesome service at the mid-season party that was crawling with at least 250-300 people. Other than that, we head into our 2nd Cross Conference Challenge, let’s hope the East can have a better showing than 1 win. =)
