My Fellow Kickballers;
Well, the Fat lady is gearing up in the dressing room, getting ready to sing. We have 2 events left on our spring calender. Super Sunday, June 20 & End of Season Party, June 26. With the weather report in, its almost guaranteed we will have a beautiful day for our last day of outdoors. Mother Nature has real good to us. Yes, we have had the occasional showers here or there. But no downpours, no heatwaves, no chilly below 20 degree temperatures. All in All, Mother Nature needs a round of applause and a pitcher. Ok, maybe not that far.
I won't get long winded with the words because we have a lot to get into with this issue. But, this Sunday..... You, yes You!!! Weather you are playing or not, bring You, some friends, Family, more Family (because it's Fathers Day) and come have a good time. Bring all the Summer accessories with you. (Water Guns, Balloons, Water Slide, etc...) Also, bring a lounge/picnic chair and some snacks. You Remember when you were 9 years old, and you went to Summer Camp, and the last day was sad but the best day of the whole Summer? Well, it's going to be like that. Come down and wrap up an awesome season; You never know if this is the last time you may see someone or not. (Marriage, College, Relocations, Kids, Job) Also, information on the Fall Season is below in the Announcements part.

End of Season Party 6/26
Ok, so you liked the mid-season party right? But... it's the grand finale.. so we can do better. More Booze? Check! More food? check! Better Raffle prize? check! Better Weather? I sure hope so. We also will be having the Team flip-cup as that was successful on that night. And.................. Possibly, an Auction???
Location – Anna Liffey’s; 17 Whitney Ave, New Haven, CT
Date – 6/26
Time – 8:00pm - 2:00am
Cost- Free for kickballers, $5 for friends (money goes to our charity)
What –Kegs, Food, DJ............. All free
Charity- Life Haven is a temporary shelter that provides a safe and nurturing environment for homeless pregnant women and women with young children. http://www.lifehaven.org/
Charity Tournaments;
~Flip Cup Tourney – 4 player teams - $5 per person - (16 teams) best of 7,
You can pre-register or register at the door. Flip cup teams do not have to be on the same kickball team. Non-Kickballers are allowed to participate in this event. The winners will get bragging rights and awesome fabulous prizes.
Flip Cup Team Tournament:
4 People, all from the same team, different teams, outsiders, whatever combination
Best of Seven; Championship game- Winner take all………
If a tie occurs, 1 cup flip off with the anchors. If still tied, 2 cup flip off with anchors. If still tied, 3 cup flip off, and so on & so on.........
