My Fellow Kickballers;
First off, congratulations to the First United Connecticut Kickers for a legendary season. 11-0-0, never done before. An instant Ivy Hall of Fame team. They scored a total of 90 runs and allowed 28 runs thru their run. Truly a sight to see and we all hope to see you guys again in the fall. What’s better than back to back undefeated seasons???
For the rest of the league, thank you for an unbelievable season. All 12 teams were great and I personally enjoyed everyone. This was the biggest group of kickballers we ever had and all the pre-season hype lived up to expectations. From a Presidents point of view, I learned a lot and hopefully achieved a lot in my goal to give every single kickballer their registration moneys worth. Weather it was a full season of games with an extra inning, all-star game, more interaction at the bar, this very newsletter with lots of fun stuff to read, and the mid/end of season parties.
Yes this usually is a time when people are sad to see the season go, it’s not really goodbye, but see you later. The month of July is truly off season month. So go on your vacations, rest up, enjoy the summer sun, recruit players to your team for a championship run, and Come back in August ready to continue the party. If I don’t see everyone at the end of season party, it was a pleasure meeting you and I hope to see you in the near future.
