Rules of the week:
~Teams are to provide 3 members of their team for ref duty when assigned.
~Umpires are required to keep count of score and verify after every inning with both captains
~The strike zone is 1 foot wide to the left and the right of the plate & 1 foot high. If the ball touches any part of that “3-D polygon” after it bounces twice, it is a strike.
~Runners must return to base when the pitcher has the ball on the mound.

Announcements:
~Opening day. In the past we have had everyone show up 30 mins early for opening discussion. We believe that we have covered all the bases with the team captains so there will be no need for everyone to get there early. That being said, you are still welcome to come and watch especially if kickball is new to you.
~ There is to be No Alcohol on the field
~ Remember the games are at BLAKE LITTLE LEAGUE FIELD (Mitchell and Willow), behind east rock school
~We play rain or shine, sleet or snow, Hail or Hell... but not Lightning
~Mid season party September 25, 2010… Keep the date
