90’s Block Party Theme
September 25, 2010
Location: Kelly’s Restaurant; 196 Crown St., New Haven, CT
Time: 7pm till 2am
Cost: Free for Kickballers, $5 for Friends
What: 4 Free Kegs, Free Food (Wings, Chicken Marsala, Vodka Penne, etc.)
Don’t drink Beer? Ok, we also have Free well drinks (these are strictly only for league members that do not drink beer; please leave it for them. Vodka or Rum well drinks only, once the bottles are done cash bar)
And…… our very own live kickball DJ, “DJ Jura”, spinning the best current and 90’s tunes all night long.
Dress in your favorite old school 90's gear and enjoy the good ol'days.....
Charity: Once again, we will gladly be sponsoring Life Haven as our charity; a temporary shelter that provides a safe and nurturing environment for homeless pregnant women and women with young children.http://www.lifehaven.org/
And to raise even more money than we did last season, we have some charity activities to achieve this mission
Charity Beer Pong Tournament:
2 player teams- $10 entry fee per team ($5/person) (16 teams)
Single Elimination
Tourney Rules:
`Teams of two
`10 cups on each side;
`No Elbows over the table
`Both teammates make their shot in a row, the team gets bonus shots
`No –“On Fire” rules
`Bounce the ball in = 2 cups(other team is allowed to defend with their hands before it gets to the cup)(However, all cups knocked down in the process will be removed)
`Only two Racks allowed (only at the beginning of your turn to shoot)
`Shoot an air ball, minus a cup on your side until the final cup (exception being your shooting at 1 cup)
`No “blowing the balls out” “fingering the balls out”
`20 Min time limit on games…… Time limit expires, team with less cups win
`If time expires and equal cups on both sides, next made cup wins pending rebuttal
`If both teammates make final cup, game over
`If 1 teammate makes cup, other team has chance for rebuttal.
`If sudden death overtime (1 teammate on each side makes final cup), 1 cup playoff; 1 shot per side
Winners of the charity tournament will receive prizes
Tournament will be run by board members Hannah LaPlante & Mike Pinto
All other disputes that come up during the tournament will be settled by them
Beer Pong tournament is pre-register. 1st Come, 1st Serve. Space is limited; 16 total teams. Tournament will start at 8:30pm sharp!!!! Upon entering the party, please pay your entry fee. All monies will be going to our Charity LIFEHaven, so don’t be cheap, you spend $$$ when you go out on a normal Saturday, so let’s make it help someone in need this time.

Live Date Auction for Charity:
We have 4 lovely ladies and 4 handsome gentlemen that will be participating in our mid season charity auction. (Names will be revealed next week) All money will be donated once again to our Charity. For each participate, along with winning a date with that person… you will receive a gift certificate to take that person out.
So, that sexy girl you been watching from a far…. Or that hot guy that you’ve tried not to get caught staring at; now is your chance to bid on them for a date. Once again, this date auction will be supporting our charity, Life Haven; and will be held right after the conclusion of the Beer Pong Tourney

Raffle:
We’re going to be raffling off 3 different baskets full of absolute goodness……
Kickball basket / Alcohol Basket / Sex Basket
And before you ask, No… The sex basket does not come with coupons for free sex with random kickballers, an outline of numbers for prostitutes and/or escorts, or any other sick freak McNasty things your mind (and mine) can think of.
Tickets will be sold at the door and throughout the night.
We’re out to top last Seasons mid-season party. So come one, come all….
