Well…………… what a barn burner we have here!!!!!!!! #1 vs #2…… possibly the match-up of the season. Kickballers and groupies around have been waiting anxiously for this game; And Finally, it has arrived………….. and with so many story lines attached.
Wrecking Balls, are fresh off a heartbreaking loss to the UniBalls last week. Perhaps they were looking ahead to this game, but better believe they are fired up for this game. An early season favorite and a spring final four participant, wrecking balls want their spot back. They’ve believed all along they were the #1 team so far this season and it’s time to prove it. They have the spring season Catcher of the year Tom “papa” Fischetti at the helm guiding a strong defense and he’s looking to go back to back with catcher of the year with a championship.
O, but Lee Corso would say…. not so fast my friend! The catcher on the other side for the Ballstards isn’t too bad himself. Kelly Miller became famous by dominating the StL game a couple of weeks ago and he is staking his claim as the league’s best catcher. Him and the rest of the Ballstards come sprinting in with a 4-0 record complete with 3 shutouts (oouch!). They match up quite well with the Wreckers and are looking for revenge on a 9-2 loss last season. Along with Kelly, the Maroons have quite the cast of characters on their team, none more vocal then their captain pitcher.
Tempers have been flying since last season and anyway you slice it, these 2 teams are looking for a fight. As if the #1 ranking wasn’t on the line, but these teams also have something in common….the love interest of the wreckers all-star short stop and the maroons starting 1st basemen.
Yes ladies and gentlemen, these teams are match-up very well in everyway possible and as one has mentioned, we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a 0-0 tie. Call this game what ever you want, Game of the Week, Battle of the defenses, Clash of the Catchers, the pearl necklace vs the Stash…….. Get out of bed after the midseason hangover, It’s gonna be a good one folks, so get you popcorn ready!!!!

Game of the Week Predictions
Yet another epic match-up; The Prez. & Co. will bring their best. But in an attempt at validation, Green gets mean. Wrecking Balls win. ~ gmot

Easily one of the headline games of the season, two talented teams with loads of expierence. With that said, I'm just going to be a homer and say the Wreckers bounce back and make things interesting. ~ Handsome Tom
OMG, can't wait for this game. WB's loss last week was surprising, but I think they can bounce back for this game..or can they?! I don’t know who is going to win this game. Wrecking Balls close ~ Strawberry

Another game the Ballstards have been looking forward to since the schedule came out, unfortunately after the midseason party so…. Whoever is less hungover will win; I have the Ballstards. ~ el Presidente

Uniballs vs. Sweep the Leg
Uniballs looked very solid last week and I think the Sweepers are now the Sleepers (playoff comeback looms on the horizon). Uniballs with the win. ~ gmot
Well, with there record of losing and all, I can’t even believe I am going to say it.....Uniballs~ glot
Once thought to be a super team, the aura around Sweep the Leg has quickly faded. I like the Unis to build on their impressive win against the Wrecking Balls. ~ Handsome Tom
I don't quite know what to think about STL anymore. They are certainly not the dream team we all thought they were (though still quite dreamy) —I think Uniballs will take this one! ~ Strawberry
Sweep the Leg continues to spiral to the league basement after a devasting loss to Balls Deep. I have Uni’s ~ Gio
Really depends which team shows up for both. If they both bring their “A” game, I see STL getting back on the horse with a ‘W’. ~ el Presidente


Balls Busters vs. Blue Ballers
Busters only 2-1 over Saved last week...did they take it easy or have Saved improved that much? I think Ball Busters come on strong this week and beat the 'Ballers blue. ~ gmot
This should be the game of the week, blue against blue. Ballers will come together for win. ~ glot
Old school vs new school. The Busters seem to be coming into this game with a ton of confidence...and I see them taking this to show why they are to reckon with. ~ Handsome Tom
Both of these teams aren't as scary as I've imagined them to be, should be a pretty even game, but I think the Ballers will squeeze out a win. ~ Strawberry

Balls of Fury vs. Teabaggers
Somebody WILL win this game! One team will come away with a mark in the victory column. Who wants it more? Fury does. Fury wins. (This better not end in a tie!) ~ gmot

Balls of Fury finally gets some relief. They should win unless teabaggers pick it up then we have a problem bof. In the end the Furians win by 3. ~ el Presidente


Balls Deep vs. Fever
This one is going to be good, but the Fever climbs another degree higher. ~ gmot
Even with their great win last week, I still have Fever’s record knocking them out…Fever for the win. ~ glot
The Fever keep on proving people wrong, although Balls Deep were able to exercise some demons last week...I believe in the Fever. ~ Handsome Tom
This should be an awesome game, but I'm not sure Balls Deeps' momentum from their awesome victory over STL will hold up... I've got Fever. ~ Strawberry
Balls Deep has just the medicine to eliminate the Fever on site. ~ Gio
After the past 2 weeks, balls deep looks to have used some old mojo to get the juices rolling. I say close but the Fever look focused this season; Fever by 1 ~ el Presidente

Balls to the Wall vs. Saved by the Balls
Saved will not get through, nor climb over the Wall. Though, beware Wall, last week Saved employed what could only be described as Visual/Psychological Warfare. You'll see what I mean. ~ gmot

Both teams are middle of the road type of teams and it should be quite close, however in the end Kickel doesn’t have the fire power needed; I have Mafia to continue to fly under the radar. ~ el Presidente
