This Game has the potential to be the most watched game of New Haven Kickball History. Sweep the Leg came out the gate a little slow but their foot is heavy on the throttle, and Ball Busters are still out to prove no matter how much the league changes, they are the champs!
Sweep the Leg just a couple of weeks ago were 1-2-1 and were coming off back to back losses to Ballstards and Balls Deep. With their backs against the Wall, they came out swinging; Blanking the on again-off again Uniballs 6-nil and then completely destroying Blue Ballers 12-0. However, most of the league still isn’t impressed with this STL team. An almost championship atmosphere game for them they’ve heard all summer and most of the fall how good this Ball Busters team is; Almost sparking the legendary 1uck to come back completely. Those 1uckers that remain have been itching at this game for awhile. The newly trained STL pitcher/captain Kharim Jones has been flexing his stuff for a late season push for IVY Best Pitcher.
But, no matter how you slice the bologna… To be the best, you have to beat the best. Ball Busters have never had more than 1 loss in a season in their franchises history. Probably one of the best infields not only in the league, but probably New Haven History. Powered by their All-Pro 3rd Basemen Gabe Johnson, bunting is almost not an option. However, as good as they are… they do have their weaknesses; But Can STL find them? Or will they crumble under pressure?

Game of the Week Predictions
STL is on the comeback trail and the Busters have regained their form of last year. Who wants it more? I think the Busters do. BB wins. ~ gmot

Easily one of the better games of the season, with STL seemingly figuring out what ailed them. But the Busters should be a tough test. I like the Busters, but not by much. ~ Handsome Tom

I Got A Fever vs. Uniballs
Both teams are coming off of a loss; both teams hungry. I think the Fever will show that they are a real contender and squeak by the Uni's. ~ gmot
